FATHERS DAY  MY DAD JOHN CONNOR I find it hard as i write on your card  Its ten years since you,have been gone  To me it feels like yesterday  I cannot seem to move on  I love and miss you dad  The best a son could have  Picked me up when i did fall  Made me smile when i was sad  I can still hear your laughter  I can still see your smile  The silly dance you used to do  How your cloths were out of style   I would stare out the window  For your car to pull up outside  When i think about you dad  Their are tear drops in my eyes  Ten years today what can i say  Why could you not live forever  life was so much fun  When we were both together  I place you card upon your grave  And stand their all alone  Wishing the lord would pity me  And let you come back home  Happy fathers day dad  I want you to know that you were great  When my life is over  We will meet by heaven gate  thepoet  jfconnor
